Students of Classes XI and XII of Ashoka Academy participated in an insightful Geography Field Survey Tour to Laaksha Griha, Barnava (District Baghpat) as part of their academic enrichment programme.
The educational visit was designed to bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world experience. During the tour, students closely observed local landforms, settlement patterns, and environmental features, gaining first-hand exposure to important geographical concepts. They were actively engaged in field observations, data collection, and discussions, which helped them understand the practical application of theoretical knowledge.
The field survey provided students with:
- Practical exposure to core geographical concepts
- Real-time observation of landforms and the local environment
- Hands-on learning beyond the classroom
- Enhanced research, observation, and survey skills
Such field-based learning experiences play a vital role in developing analytical thinking and environmental awareness among students. Ashoka Academy remains committed to offering enriching academic opportunities that broaden students’ understanding of the world around them and promote experiential learning.
